The paper introduces some early works of Theodor W. Adorno. The author discusses the philosophical basis of psychoanalysis in relation to metaphysics, ontology and hermeneutics. In this paper are compared the theories of Adorno, Heidegger and Nietzsche with those of Freud and Lacan.
