The paper maintains that in the psychoanalytic therapy the logic component and the affective one have to the integrated. The logical-cognitive component expresses itself above all trough the interpretative activity, that comprises implicitly also some affective aspects; mutually, the non-interpretative interventions comprise always a logical or cognitive component, linked to our theories and to our patient’s acquaintance, and above all to transference and countertransference in that particular situation of therapy. The logical-affective meaning of setting, the logic of the interpretative process, and finally the meaning of the "affective actions" are taken into consideration. Particularly, the meaning of the "affective actions" is distinguished from enactments and more general supportive interventions. The former have a particular structure and can affect positively the schemas of the implicit memory of the "bad Self-negative affect-bad object".
