In this paper we analyze the relationship between the effectiveness of Civic Crowdfunding projects and the attractiveness of the area. The survey, made through the study of two important Civic Crowdfunding platforms, was carried out through a statistical analysis of linear and multivariate regression OLS. We verified so, on a sample of 144 projects of civic crowdfunding, the presence of a positive correlation between the effectiveness of projects and the attractiveness of the territory, and the number of other investors. However, seems to merge a negative correlation with the number of submitted projects. The paper shows, therefore, the importance and value of the area through the reply given by the adhering investors of civic crowdfunding projects, demonstrating the importance that is taking on this particular type of investment for sustainable development of the territory, meeting expected trend, by citizens, to express a greater willingness to social participation to build up cities and best territories.
