Digitalisation leads to consider human beings as "electronic bodies". On the Internet our identity is based on electronic data and information which may be separated from its original context. This implies both benefits and risks: on the one hand, digital information is more flexible and usable, therefore it can be used for several different purposes; on the other hand, there is a serious risk of losing reliability and quality of the information. These problems arise especially in connection with the healthcare sector. Keywords: Digitalisation; digital information; data; digital identity; contextualisation; healthcare
