The following texts refer to some of the interventions in the discussion held by the Editorial Board of Setting for an ASP meeting in 2015 (december 12th), focused on the role of our Review in the psychoanalytic training and on the critical exam of M. Solms & J. Panksepp’s "The ‘Id’ Knows More than the "Ego" Admits: Neuropsychoanalytic and Primal Consciousness Perspectives on the Interface Between Affective and Cognitive Neuroscience", translated into Italian in Setting vol. 37/38. The texts had been conceived for an oral presentation, and we preferred to leave their original feature. The first was presented by Ciro Elia, Editor-in-Chief of Setting; the others were presented by some Candidates of our Training School S.P.P. (Adults’ Psychoanalytic Individual Psychotherapy Course-Milan): Mario Apicella, Chiara Gnesi, Emilio Bertuletti, Davide Trovenzi.
Keywords: Psychoanalytic Training, Setting, Conscious, Unconscious, Neurosciences, Art, Faith, ResearchId, Ego.
