In recent years, Mindfulness has allowed many people to find a state of wellbeing in the psycho-physical level, helping them through practices to cultivate Mindfulness, to relieve stress and to promote acceptance of the present moment with gratitude and no judgment. In this study, the authors try to understand the role played by knowledge in the promotion of interpersonal relationships, given the great importance that the sociality has in our lives from birth. The results from this study showed that the type of attention supported by Mindfulness, which is open and receptive allows us to improve in relationship with others. This becomes possible by promoting attitudes of kindness, empathy, compassion, open-heartedness and gratitude that make us more sensitive towards each other. The practice of Mindfulness allows us to approach others with real curiosity to know them better, freeing us from excessive fears or hatreds that too often we make drastic and strict in issuing judgments. Keywords: Mindfulness, awareness, relationships, attention, emotions.
