The Author intends to study the relationship between the political party and the various subjects that form it. The tension between the principle of majority and the development of the individual’s personality as an individual experience places a need to deepen the scope of the democratic method, on the one hand, and the solidarity link between the members, on the other. In this perspective, the essay proceeds through the different components of the political parties which, in a logic of concentric circles, are from outside to inside: voters, supporters, primary voters, donors and taxpayers, members, activists, executives, candidates and those elected to representative or government positions.
