The article analyzes whether traveling constituted an important experimentation for lesbians who played in the homosexual or feminist movement in the 1970s and for lesbians who in the 1980s gave birth tolesbofemminismo (feminist lesbianism), an autonomous lesbian movement that developed during that decade. By investigating travel practises - both organized tour and solo trips - and geographies, the author undelines the need to create separate spaces "outside patriarchy". The article is mainly based on interviews.
