The research describes the experience of community manager in the rural area experienced in the SPOP Lab project in the municipality of Nughedu S.V. An action-research project which aims to approach the phenomenon of depopulation of internal areas through a strategy that focuses on the role of the community. The figure of the community manager has the role of activating and organizing personal and collective resources by co-designing concrete actions to contrast the depopulation phenomenon.
