In 2021, almost thirty years after its abolishment, the Ministry of Tourism makes its re-turn in the architecture of the Italian Government as a strategic instrument against the eco-nomic crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. Despite the many praises from the tourism industry operators, this reform might raise doubts among those who’ve always critically pointed out the tendency of the State to intervene in a matter of exclusive competence of the Regions.
