With the creation of the Ministry of Ecological Transition, there is a new awareness of sustainability not only as protection of environmental factors but as a real green transition. This concept is included in the UN’s 2030 Agenda and the EU’s Green Deal, which set green goals whose pursuit has recently been reinforced by various EU financial instruments. At the national level, market instruments already allowed economic flows to be oriented towards "green" practices, but the recent National Recovery and Resilience Plan can be considered the economic instrument needed to contribute to the green transition, thanks also to the role of the Ministry itself.
