The contribution analyzes aspects and meanings of the kingship linked to the ceremonies involving Vittorio Amedeo II of Savoy (1713-1714), the new King of Sicily, both in the acclamation phase in Turin and at the entrance and coronation in Palermo. The holidays and the trip to Sicily are investigated as the beginning of a kunstpolitik and expression of a faber people. In these situations, the architect-priest embodies the figure of the director-planner of the baroque scene.
