This paper aims to recover the reflection on the ontological question about social reality in order to try to adequately grasp also the epistemological and ethical questions that should elicit “labour” and “performance” conceived as dimensions of human action vocated to change reality. In particular, by way of example, attention will be paid to the portions of social reality represented by organizations and organizational change processes.
