In recent years, logistics has become one of the fields where immigrants have found the most employment opportunities. However, it is also a sector rife with irregularities and numerous forms of exploitation. This article presents an excerpt from a qualitative and quantitative study carried on in the Marche region, which analyzed the role of the confederal union, particularly the CGIL, in its relations with both companies and migrant workers; forms of exploitation and discrimination; and knowledge of the Italian language and awareness of immigrant workers’ rights.
