Studi organizzativi - International Journal of Organizational Action Research is a scientific journal born in 1969, directed by Federico Butera, Raffaella Cagliano and Marcello Martinez, delivered by a multidisciplinary Editorial Board coordinated by Edoardo Della Torre, and supported by a prestigious International Advisory Board. The journal publishes scientific articles and essays based on empirical research and case studies. The distinctive competence is the analysis of the "society of organizations", whether they may be large, medium, or small companies, business networks, systems of regional economy, central and local public administrations, non-profit organizations. Particular attention is dedicated to action research, to research about new organizational forms and employment relations, and to methodologies for planning and managing organizational change. The journal consists of two main sections. The first section, subject to double-blind peer review, publishes scientific articles resulting from organizational research developed in the various disciplinary areas (economics, sociology, psychology, political science, law, engineering, management). The second section offers invited scholarly essays, documents, and empirical materials, including projects, interviews, and book reviews. The journal audience includes academics, scholars, entrepreneurs, executives, and professionals who stay at the frontier of organizational innovation. Studi Organizzativi - International Journal of Organizational Action Research is above all a journal about persons in organizations: the person is the foundation of the organization, the organization in turn creates the conditions for the integral development of persons in democratic societies.

This journal uses double-blind review, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa, throughout the review process. To facilitate this, authors need to ensure that their manuscripts are prepared in a way that does not give away their identity. Authors have to remove any identifying information, including author names, from file names and to ensure document properties are also anonymised. The journal thanks the referees* who provided their contribution in the blind referencing process: Alberta Andreotti, Alessia Berni, Lavinia Bifulco, Claudio Biscaro, Rita Bissola, Cristina Boari, Paolo Canonico, Vincenzo Cavaliere, Enrico Ciciotti, Sabrina Colombo, Ernesto De Nito, Edoardo Della Torre, Giuseppe Delmestri, Primiano Di Nauta, Vincenza Esposito, Santi Furnari, Rosita Garzi, Martina Gianecchini, Antonio Giangreco, Silvia Gilardi, Mara Gorli, Paolo Landri, Sara Lombardi, Roberto Lusardi, Dario Minervini, Lorenzo Mizzau, Valentina Pacetti, Barbara Pentimalli, Mario Pezzillo Iacono, Daniel Pittino, Paolo Rossi, Anna Chiara Scapolan, Giuseppe Scaratti, Davide Secchi, Massimiliano Tarozzi. *This list is drawn up with the names of the referees involved starting from 2014
