The authors interviewed a woman who lived the experience of a self-help group that was developed by employees in a factory in crisis. After introducing the socio-political importance of groups, the interview continues and finally the experience of the group is considered in the light of Gestalt therapy. Self-help groups are a laboratory where the ground of society and relational competences, which is today revolutionary, are built.
