The text focuses on the definitions of antisemitism, more specifically on the definition supported by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA, 2016) and on the Jerusalem Declaration on Antisemitism (JDA, 2021). It reflects on the characteristics of these non-legally binding - yet very influential - docments and on the interconnections between these definitions and the need to protect freedom of expression on the extremely controversial issues related to Israel-Palestine.
