Quarterly of the Lombard Institute of Contemporary History (Istituto lombardo di storia contemporanea)
Storia in Lombardia, which has been published since 1982, is a valid tool for the study of Lombardia's complex history from 1815 to the present day. The journal continues to carry out this function, which, thanks to the central role Lombardia has played and continues to play in more general Italian affairs, extends beyond the regional sphere. It does not, however, neglect discussion of methodological issues, reviews and debates on the orientation of Italian historiography.
Storia in Lombardia has recently added to its bow with a new bibliographical initiative - a review of national and local journals aimed at highlighting contributions relating to Lombardia, and a bibliography of published works relevant to the region's history.
