Informazioni sugli e-book

This book examines the strategic dynamics that characterize technological mergers and acquisitions (M&A) in the innovation context. More specifically, using advanced protocols developed in bibliometrics, the first part of the book introduces a new framework for the interpretation of the theoretical foundations, the intellectual structure, and research trends in M&A and innovation topics. Building on these results, in the second part, the book tests empirically the effects of key drivers of innovation performance and synergies in technological M&A in the U.S. high-tech industry.
The book contributes to bridging core strategy perspectives for a better understanding of the M&A impact on innovation and creates a roadmap for scholars highlighting directions for future research avenues.
