Annually, we publish more than 80 magazines. Many of them offer academic researches on the main social, economic and humanistic disciplines. Others supply updated contents to legal professionals, educators, social workers and professionals working in the social relations field. Please, find the updated list here. In the page of each magazine, you will find more specific information on editorial programmes, eventual calls for paper, the ranking, and the editing instructions. We are very dedicated to the evaluation and internationalization of research with the aim to meet the needs of the Italian academic sector.
For this reason, in the last few years (either directly or in partnership) we have made significant investments to foster the international spreading of our magazines, adapting our services to the standards required by the libraries of the most relevant universities (to find out more, click here Home), also actively committing to spreading contents among the most relevant bibliographic databases (both general and specialised).
We collaborate with the leading search engines (e.g. Google Scholar), the most relevant general databases (e.g. Ebsco, Ex Libris Primo and Proquest, for Italy Catalogo nazionale dei periodici) and with specialised aggregators.
( e.g. PsycINFO, DoGi, Essper, Econlit, Jel, RePEc, Sociological Abstracts, Social Services Abstracts and many more).
We are members of the two main institutions (Clockss, and Portico) for the long-term preservation of digital contents (which is very appreciated by libraries when deciding on their subscriptions).
We have promoted the inclusion of our magazines in databases like Isi and Scopus. However, at the same time, we were the first in Italy to subscribe to Pila - Publisher International Linking Association – boasting among its subscribers, more than 4000 publishers worldwide, mainly academic, public and private (see crossref.org: publishers and societies). Pila promotes CrossRef (finalized with the cited by service, to create a neutral platform for the elaboration of citation bibliometric indicators and with a specific focus on human and social disciplines).
Thanks to these efforts, many of our magazines (offered to national and international libraries in customizable digital collections with access to all back issues) are available in the libraries of Harvard and Yale Universities, of New York University, of Columbia University, of the main Italian universities, of Banca d’Italia, Istat, of the European Commission, of Cnel, of the Italian Parliament and many more.
